You Wanna Do Somethin Killa?

If Andre 3K and Isis Love had a child who was the reincarnation of Vlad Dracula, it would be me.

Yikes.
I understand that seeing something like this *might* disturb a rape victim, but tearing it off is just ridiculous.
Let’s say the #1 guy in your life, maybe dad, brother, boyfriend, husband, or whoever was accused of raping someone and was 100% innocent. This is not some stranger, this is someone you deeply care about. That person is prosecuted and goes to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Obviously, there are two problems here: 1) someone got raped 2) the rapist got away while this man was punished
In all liklihood, this sticker probably won’t help that much in terms of keeping innocent people from being charged with rape, but what if it did? What if it helped one person, and it was that guy in your life that you care so much about?
Yes, rape is awful and ALL rapists deserve to be punished for it. Ripping off this sticker is not going to do ANYTHING for that cause, and it’s certainly not going to help those who are falsely accused.

That is sickening someone would falsely accuse an innocent when there are ACTUAL rapists out there still roaming around, it hurts everyone.

OMG! Both you commenters are terrible people.  You know what’s actually sick?! The fact that so few rapists actually get prosecuted let alone actually convicted of their crimes that people actually believe false rape accusations are common.  Newsflash - they aren’t.  False rape accusations are so rare that their existence is legitimately negligible.  What’s really fucking common, however, is people who’ve been raped actually coming forward, naming their rapists, trying to bring them to justice and then having everyone in the world against them that they either get intimidated into shutting up or nothing happens because there’s not enough evidence or nobody fucking believes them so they’re accused of bringing false accusations for something that actually happened.
Being falsely accused of a crime is obviously shitty but even if someone is actually falsely accused as a rapist that won’t ruin hir life because our society just doesn’t fucking work that way.  You know what can and does ruin a person’s life every single day?  Being raped.  Even worse is being raped, speaking out about it and having nobody believe you or not being able to bring your rapist to justice.  That will actually ruin your life and it happens every single damn day in this country because that’s how our society is set up.  Try educating yourself before you cry about all the poor men you think are being oppressed by rape victims because that just does not fucking happen.

You know what? Shut up. My fucking FATHER was falsely accused of rape by my MOTHER during their custody battle over me. It was PART of the reason why I ended up living with a mother who not only was psychologically abusive toward me for a majority of my childhood but also neglectful toward me. She was ESPECIALLY neglectful after my little sister was born. This resulted in YEARS of me feeling resent toward my little sister since the time I was 8 years old. (Of course now I adore her, but still.)
People shouldn’t falsely accuse anyone of any crime. If it didn’t happen, don’t fucking report that it did. That’s a waste of tax dollars, and it’s taking attention away from REAL rape victims. So yes, go ahead and LIE to the police and the courts. Ruin his life. After all, you as a woman have that privilege of being able to completely destroy his reputation whether he did it or not. Why? Because for 25-50% of rape victims (who ARE MALE by the way) they don’t have that luxury. If a cis-male reported rape by a cis-female he’d probably be laughed at. Better yet, he’d be asked if he enjoyed it. After all, it’s “not rape” if a vagina was used.
The forensic labs are SWAMPED with rape kits, and too much DNA to test. That’s ALL over the country that there are back logs. A false rape report (especially if DNA is being tested) is going to ADD to that issue. That means that a more PRESSING matter than your false rape report is being taken into account. It’s going to be in that line of DNA to test along with real rape investigations, homicide cases, and oh… getting innocent people off of death row.
Want to know something? A false rape allegation can lead to someone being fucking KILLED. Especially if the accuser is a white female who decides to accuse a black male. So don’t tell me that “well it sucks to be falsely accused but—” no. No “buts”, actually take responsibility for that shit. If YOUR false accusation leads to the DEATH of an innocent person or results in that person losing their home, family support, what have you then you better fucking own up to that. Especially since it does REAL rape victims a disservice. I know one of the reasons why I never reported my rape was because I believed that no one would believe me because of oooo oh hey… false rape allegations.

And let’s not forget that if the victim of a false allegation is sent to jail they’re likely to be raped themselves.  You know what’ll really ruin someone’s life?  Their reputation being destroyed, losing their job and family, then being thrown in jail, then being raped, then getting out of jail and having no job opportunities, no life, and the permanent stigma of “rapist” hanging over his (and it’s virtually always his) head even if his name was cleared entirely in the end.  Ain’t that a walk in the park.As for “legitimately negligible”?  Try between ten and thirty percent of cases….which when we consider how hard rape is to prove either way is likely an underestimate.  Even the very lowest reliable estimates place the number of outright fabricated accusations at over one in seventeen cases, which doesn’t count misidentifications or other inaccurate claims that aren’t directly malicious.  That may sound low, but that’s an awful lot of false claims.  The most reasonable estimates place that number somewhere between one in ten and one in four.  Do you have any conception how many cases that is?  Once inaccurate (but non-fabricated) cases are taken into account, that number starts to look very, very serious.Take your bullshit elsewhere.  All of us care about the victims of rape.  None of us are trying to erase those victims, and none of us want to see rapists, actual rapists go unpunished.  The only difference is that we care about the people you don’t, the people you’d happily throw under a fucking bus to keep your idiotic delusions about the world, your bullshit ideology, your willful ignorance and your stupidity intact.ND said it already, but I’ll say it again.Shut.  The.  Fuck.  Up.
