Why the fuck do you and so many people think no people of color (when these other fucking tribes sailed to their kingdom in this movie, no less) queer people, or disabled people (when there were minimal medical advancements) existed in all of history? I hear this about brave, tangled, any other damn cartoon, but y’all can believe there were witches turning people to bears. You’re damn right I’m gonna complain that other white people, the same ones telling people I care about, that their oppression doesn’t matter or is over with, are simultaneously telling them they can’t be seen they’re too controversial, they don’t attract an audience. Fuck yourself if you ever think it’s okay to erase people because of your whitewashed versions of history. Done. With. This. Shit.Nope. Not now, not ever, will I accept “just a ____” as an excuse for erasure or any other oppressive behavior. Real people made this movie, real people targeted real audiences and decided other real people weren’t important enough to be included. Enjoy the fuck out of it, just don’t ever tell me not to criticize it or ignore the problems in it. They could suspend reality enough for her mother to be a bear, but not enough to think people of color, queer people or disabled people (people who exist, unlike real, magic witches,) would maybe want to be included or garner an audience? Come on now.it’s a movie
about a girl
who turned her mom into a bear
please calm down
So you’re really gonna complain about how people of color, queer, transgender, bi…etc etc weren’t in a movie based around 18th century Scotland???
I can’t believe what I’ve just read

Please go walk off a cliff
It was pretty freaking hilarious, too.
